Horizon Holland Foundation (HHF) does not rely on financial support from the government. In case of  emergency relief, HHF does cooperate  with the ministries of Development and Health.In these situations the government is funding  HHF to carry out particular projects. HHF pays her spendings from gifts coming from schools, companies and churches.

Some donators choose to donate on a regular base for aparticular country or project. Donations to HHF are tax-deductible.

Often it takes years for a project to become self-supporting and self-sufficient. continuity during support is  important because of this.
